Designing from Destruction is about stress relief and creating anew from the beautiful destruction. Had a hard week? Been a difficult season? Just looking to have a fun night of art out and blow off some steam? Check out this abstract painting workshop with Rachel Brask!

No prior art experience needed! All materials included.
Wednesday, April 26, 6:30-8:30pm

Pricing: $35/each if register by 4/13, $45/each if register by 4/24

Workshop Location: Preservation Framer, 31 North Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA. Plenty of streetside parking; additional parking in rear of building.

  • • Do I need any art experience to take this class? —This workshop is perfect for beginners or a fun night out for all levels. Even if you have previous art experience, it might open you up to a new approach!

    • Will I need to bring any art supplies with me? —No, all materials are provided!

    • Will we all be making the same painting? —Everyone will be making their own unique creation with prompts and guidance.

    • Will there be breaks? —Yes, there will be 1-3 short breaks built into the flow of the workshop.

    • Should I dress any particular way? —Come as you are, we provide aprons and gloves for artmaking.

    • Can I bring a friend with me? —Yes, as long as you register for this friend, just fill their name in at registration. If class is cancelled or rescheduled, you’ll be the one contacted to inform your friend of the cancellation.

  • In addition to making her own original artwork, Rachel Brask has been teaching and facilitating creativity and art lessons, classes and workshops for many years. She has been the drawing/painting instructor for camps, a teacher/director for an after-school program, and she currently teaches private art lessons out of her studio. She has taught specific art workshops in abstract art, color exploration, impressionism, pointillism and more through local community centers, galleries, libraries, and private groups. Her students range from children, teens, adults, and senior citizens.

    Her ability to adapt and embrace each person’s unique skill set, experience level, and personality makes her an engaging and responsive teaching artist.

    Rachel Brask earned a B.A. of Art from Houghton College.

  • If a class registrations does not meet the minimum number of students needed to run the class, the class will be cancelled and participants will receive a full refund, or credit to a future/rescheduled art class/workshop with Rachel Brask.

    If participants have registered for the workshop, but need to cancel, if registration is cancelled via email/text/phone/messenger/DM by 24 hours of the workshop start time, the participant will receive a 50% refund, or credit towards a future workshop.

    If a participant doesn’t attend class without any notice or communication, no refunds will be issued (barring extenuating emergency circumstances)
