This original oil painting sized 30x40 inches is inspired by the view of alpine mountains in the distance, viewed across a meadow and forest of pine trees.

These oil paintings all start out as very thick daubs of oil paint and through Rachel Brask’s signature rainy day process she blurs and edits the paint and colors to resemble viewing this scene through a window during a strong rain, when all the water is pouring down the windowpane.

This original oil painting is painted on all outer edges of a 1.5 inch profile canvas, signed by artist Rachel Brask, and is available for purchase. Painting comes with hanging wire affixed to back of canvas. This original hand-painted canvas also contains a uniquely textured surface where some of the "rain drips" dried in place.
