New Year New Website

The last time I did a full overhaul of my website was in 2016 (ish), leaning heavily on the -ish. I did add a shop feature around 2018 but it was pasting together two websites to function together, having redundancies in both sites. Now that I’ve been working on my rain day style of oil paintings going over 5 years now, I thought that it’s a good idea for a total website refresh. And January-February is the time I’ve set aside for that to happen.

I’m aiming to simplify the look and maximize efficiency and minimize redundancy. I’m aiming to combine my website blog, inventory, shop, portfolio, and email communications all in one as easily as I can. The process has been very tedious, and it’s been very slow going, so please be patient if you notice anything off-speck about my website(s) in the coming weeks. I don’t have an official launch date, but I’ll probably do a soft-launch with email subscribers to try to check all the links and glitches before going fully live. I may not have all my previous inventory all available on the website yet (that part is the slowest going), but if you see anything you remembered being interested in but it’s not in the shop, just reach out and I’ll get you connected to it.

So here’s to launching something new soon, and hoping that it all pulls together and flows together digitally. Because I want to spend less time at my computer and more time ahead in front of the easel.
